Population Census in Peru
Dell (2010) uses Peru's population census in 1876, 1940, and 1993 to calculate the correlation of district-level population across time. Footnote 17 of Dell (2010) says that the 2005 population census was methodologically flawed. Dell (2010) also uses the 1876 census for the literacy rate, the 1940 census for years of schooling, and the 1993 census for whether primary occupation is agriculture.
